i currently am running a 65 shot dry zex kit. i have an upgraded fuel pump but i have stock injectors and also a stock maf. what is the biggest shot i can go with stock injectors and maf? once i get to the limit i would end up getting a second kit for more nitrous such as a wet kit or direct port. but for now i need to know can i only go 75...or 90 or 100?

lewis

p.s. dont worry about drivetrain and internals...i already have aftermarket rods/pistons and drivetrain.

Call up JWT, and tell them exactly what you want. They will build you a custom dry nitrous setup that uses larger aftermarket injectors to compensate for fuel. Their systems are completely controlled by a custrom ECU tune for even fuel distribution, timing retard, window switching, nitrous cut, and even nitrous flow based on RPM. Since no fuel is being injected into the intake manifold, there is no chance for fuel puddling or a nitrous backfire. You won't find a safer system.

If your motor has forged pistons and rods, go ahead and spray the **** out of it.Try out a multi-stage 200 shot and see how you like it.

Example of a nice staged nitrous setup that will allow for traction on the street:

3000RPM: +35HP3500RPM: +65HP4000RPM: +120HP4500RPM: +165HP5000RPM-Fuel Cut: +200HP

Hey, im running a 65hp basic zex dry kit, on a stock motor. what kind of controllers can i use with that to run different levels of nitrous at different rpm's. Also i was wondering, since the nitrous kicks in at full throttle through my tps sensor, can i drop my clutch off the line when drag racing without the risk of blowing my motor? Right now i roll of the line and completely destroy my reaction and quarter mile times. I never floored it off the line because i thought that since the track is sticky, all that hp would go straight to my engine and blow it but i wasn't shure.

I was dissapointed at my time of 15.7 with a .98 reaction

Also how high can i safely go on a stock, tight motor

You can get RPM activation switches from MSD. You could use them with wet or direct-port nitrous systems to have multiple stages activated at different RPM intervals. Jim Wolf Technology really is the way to go though if you want to safely run multiple stages.

As far as launching, I would only do it if you have a window switch. You should set this to only allow the nitrous to activate around 3000RPM and at wide open throttle. If you do not have this, and you bog off the line while spraying, the insane cylinder pressures created could turn your motor into a lovely pile of metal strown down the drag strip.
