Are you talking about just nitromethane or a mixture of nitromethane and methanol. You need something to stabilize it. I think that's why they use methanol. That thing would probably screw up your car. Nitromethane uses 1/10 of the air to burn than the regular gas. So it would be a little funky with the same air fuel ratio. Now I am just guessing here and not really into Chemistry. Maybe somebody with that background can chime in.

Also it eats aluminum.

wow...that sounds like the start of a...what would happen if I did this? darwin award.

Infiniti does not recommend any additives in the fuel tank.

Why would you want to take a chance of screwing up your G?

I'll keep my eyes in the sky and if I see a big "POOF" of smoke south of me, I'm immediately coming back to this thread to see if you own up to it

Unless you understand the chemical composition, burn rate, burn temperatures of it....stay clear.

IGNORE all these previous posts. There are always people that stand in the path of the great ones saying you can't do it and your going to fail. What makes the great ones great is the action of ignoring the naysayers and going on to acheive the greatness that makes them the great ones.

Why stop at an ounce when you have access to 12 ounces? I say fill er up and see what happens.

Out come #1 your car is awesomely fast and you start using nitromethane in every tank of gas. Eventually patenting a new fuel additive making millions of dollars. Men want to be you women want to be with you (if your gay just flip it(I know your a man cause you know what is in the garage!)).

Out come #2 catastrophic engine failure. I'm talking a hot steaming pile of gooey aluminum puddled on the pile of your garage floor. Not just some sissy nitrous intake manifold backfire that cracks the plenum, blows the filters off and pokes a connecting rod through the side of the block. I'm talking about the real deal here.

BUT this still is a great result for you cause hey now you NEED a new motor and don't you deserve a twin turbo charge, methenal injected 4.1 forged stroker?

Let us know how it goes, unless your not going to do it and wasted all of our time with a pointless thread. Then screw you, your not one of the great ones, your a poser with an idea that could have made him into one of the great ones but you listened into a bunch of whiney women and let the opportunity pass him by.

EXTREME!!!!

Take it to a recycle center and get rid of it.

Sounds like naysayer whiney woman talk! You have a gasoline powered 300 hp 4 wheel recycle center sitting in your garage.
