Nitrogen Tires

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I have had my nitrogen for a month now. Gas mileage and performance has definitely increased. Well worth getting done.

I also opted for the Nitromax from the dealer. I read up on it and was kind of on the fence, but for $120 for life it seemed like a cool feature. I think the gas mileage is improved by the fact that the tires are inflated to 35-36psi and stay at that pressure, so you get better gas mileage around town because the tires don't need to warm up.

Might be a waste of money, but I think its cool and fun to tell friends about.

Well for me its cost effective because I didn't pay for the Nitrogen, but I have noticed a $5 per tank difference. That means the $100.00 bux or whatever you spend to get the upgrade easily pays for itself on gas and not to mention the tire wear and engine wear your saving.

All in all I say its a very worth while purchase on any car. B13 included! ha ha

This can be a hotly debated issue.Personally I don't think it's worth the money, but I found a website that makes good reading on this subject.

So i got a question about nitrogen tires.. Do you have to refill them ever or just once and then they always stay at the same psi?

You have to refill when they run low but not as often as regular air assuming driving conditions are similar.
