Can some one tell me if nitrogen is standard fill with G37 and/or Maxima?

hello
I just purchased a G37 Sport. One of the things I was told is that Nitrogen filled tyres come stock from the factory. I don't know about the Nissan, but most likely it would as it's their top end luxury sedan.

Cheers

I don't think so...They didn't say that it was when I bought my G37S sedan. A waste of money IMO.

Hey joe603
The whole Nitrogen issue only came up because I noticed a small sticker/etching on the windshield DS just above the vin plate. That's when the sales dude said it was a factory thing. Maybe it's only on the coupes, or an option offered when ordering or even just a regional thing. I see you're in Atlanta in the beautiful state of Georgia. Where it doesn't get the the huge temperature changes like we do here in the Great White North. It can go from 20f to 45f in a day. That can really mess with your tyres. One day they're rock hard the next day you're driving on marshmallows. I enjoy any challenge but that's one I'll pass on. Aaaaaaand speaking of challenge ER Sweet SRT8!! Happy Holidays to you and yours
Cheers

This seems an honest review of nitrogen use:

Nitrogen keeps my wife's car's tire lights off in cold weather!! Doesn't fluctuate with temps nearly as bad....Here, it can be 24 degrees in the AM and 70 in the afternoon.

I've used nitrogen and i find it is ok. It will vary a lot less but not enough. I have now switched to regular air and i've not had to refill the air in the tires for over a year. My M tells me the pressure of the tire and so does my JX. only 3psi difference in the chicago so far.

Nitrogen is good for tires, tpms sensor and pressure as it's inert gas and has no moisture in it when you fill your tires.
