Nitrogen is a dry, inert gas used to inflate airplane tires, off-road truck tires, military vehicle tires, and race car tires for improved performance, more tire mileage, better fuel economy, and increased safety.EA11RDrift wrote:Why put nitrogen in the tyres? Did you fill to the correct pressure?Chiefster wrote:i just switched my air to nitrogen....would that make me have to reset the sensor??cuz its showing the little light for tires....
Mine came from the dealer with nitrogen in it, = lifetime refill on the n2 gas. But, salesman did say if I need to air up a tire, to do so with reg air asap, and then to let the service tech know, whenever i bring it in for service / oil change. Also check your local tire / wheel shop, most all of them in my area now carry n2, and can fill / refill on site.JpRmuth25 wrote:so in other words when you need to fill your tires you have to go to like a gas distributor to do that?
seems like more trouble than its probably worth IMO. If nitrogen was some wonder gas like an earlier thread made it seem with all these benefits it would be more mainstream.Jpmemcoupe wrote:Mine came from the dealer with nitrogen in it, = lifetime refill on the n2 gas.
