exactly, because the sr20motors have a freaking conspiracy against me. At least my 3sgte is willing to take the abuse

Hey man if you can't figure out whats wrong with your car, you definetly don't need to spray. Most people blow their **** up b/c they don't have a clue wtf they're doing. I think you should leave your car stock until you learn more about your car.

Yeah everyone was new one time or another, I just don't want you to get bit. Most people just put a kit on and think o its ok, it'll hold up, if you think of it that way rebuilt motor or not it will go boom. My car ran flawlessly for a long time with a big hit and I never had any real problems, other than the time I blew my mafs off my intake pipe, lol(nitrous puddle). There's just things you shouldn't do on spray with a 240 ie, spraying in 4 gear on the freeway below 3k rpm, stuff like that. My suggestion is get your new engine in, break it in check everything(timing, compression, fuel system and what not)then put the kit on and start off small.

I wanted to get my motor running good and drive it for maybe 1y to get to know my car. and in that 1y Im going to buy my spray, SAFC ext. and then get my engine in, break it in check everything and start at a 50 shot and go up to a 75,100,and maybe a 125.

Theres nothing wrong with that, thats how I started. Like I said if your ever planning on running more than the 75 hit, I'd go ahead and get the direct port kit, its more money but you'll have better results.

I always prefer wet kits. People have had success with dry kits but wet kits are more forgiving and theres more tuning adjustability. I've seen a few nitrous express efi single nozzle kits on ebay for around 325 or so. If you want since you live in the houston area I can help you out with setting up and tuning your kit when you get it.
