so after driving around with my overlays on my tail lights, and having them peeling on the corners, i've decided to take the plunge and Nite Shade... now i have seen several tutorials, and me and my friend are both going to do our tail lights... but the one question I have is how many cans I'll need, to go a bit darker than my overlays...
and how many cans of a clear coat I'll need? also, any advice would be great! i plan on masking off the reverse light becuase that will make it legal in MD... and might do a REAL light coat on it, just to get rid of the pink... thanks in advance for the help!

this is explained in the tutorials section. and i think you only do a couple coats. no need for multiple cans.

Since you are doing 2 cars you might want 2 cans of each. well he's getting his own can, he has a Cobalt SS... so the tail lights on those arent very big... but yeah, just wanted to know how mnuch ill need, would hate to start this, then find a ride cause i dont have enough paint... but hopefully within the next couple weeks we'll get this done... i cant wait... when its done right it looks SO much better... just masking off the reverse lights will be a BIG pain.
