Internal daughterboard that replaces the factory chip. It has a USB output cable that installs a port outputting from your ECU case.C_MONEY wrote:So nistune is a dauterboard and external eprom? or am i missing somthing?
"Not the same company"? Not sure what you mean by that. Using injectors larger than stock its always a good idea to start changing things...like....adding a larger fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. If you have Nistune you can enter your new injector values in the software so it will run right. 850cc are okay.sjbsuperman1425 wrote:one more question, anybody running Deatschwerks Injectors? I plan on running these and just want to know if i have to start changing things since when i get my NIStune because its not the same company.
Also, I plan on around 350-400whp, but i wont get there overnight, so if i were to buy 850cc injectors, would the injector multiply keep the fuel/ign maps at stock values if i changed the MAF and Injectors, or would i have to go back and tune it?
If you alter your K constant properly you shouldn't have to touch any of the maps except for rescaling the TP axis (as stated above, nistune has a handy-dandy function that does this for you).sjbsuperman1425 wrote:Also, I plan on around 350-400whp, but i wont get there overnight, so if i were to buy 850cc injectors, would the injector multiply keep the fuel/ign maps at stock values if i changed the MAF and Injectors, or would i have to go back and tune it?
There are different manufacturers of injectors; Bosch, Delphi, Denso, etc. ...and I forget which but one of them has an oval plug and the others use a rectangle plug (like your nissan has). Besides that, brand shouldnt matter with Nistune, but impedence would.sjbsuperman1425 wrote:i'll have to dig it up, but there is something in there about the "brand". i already have a walbro and a nismo FPR so im good there.
