DTC's say it all. not sure what to do next. I was planning to put the new VLSD i got in the car and list the one I have for sale, so that should cover the costs of whatever I might need, but it still sucks that the wait is once again on

Have been in contact with Matt of Nistune. He said my injector latencies look way out of whack. Stock is .55ms. I am at .64. I dont know where i SHOULD be, but he said he's going to simulate my setup and get a basic idea of where i should sit and send me a new bin file. He said CAS fault could be based off the car running s***ty, TPS is another story tho

hell ya. but, progress WAS made despite finding problems. entering the tune into the ecu did change how the car was running substantially. and even tho it runs like s***, its better than how it was not running (with maf plugged in) before. haha

well.. lots of good news and a bit of a scare tonight.

The scare was, the car randomly wouldnt start. I was on the phone with ryan when this happened and im sure he heard the panic in my voice haha. But it must have been flooded out because after a little fiddling and holding the throttle wide open, it finally fired back up

but the good news was more like relief. Ran the car for a 2 minute log session after running it around the block in limp mode to get it up to temp a little bit.

No DTC's showed up this time, TPS voltage seems spot on (sweep from .062 to 4.42) FSM says should be around .5 to 4.5 so im within that threshold.

CAS DTC also never showed back up, must have been related to how poorly the car was running last night.

I sent my log to matt at nistune and he is going to analyze it and adjust my bin file accordingly. Looks like im getting closer and closer every day!

All I can say is, Deer in the headlights, LOL. I was starting to wonder when you never called back. Well I'm glad you got it started back up, and that you're not gonna have to pull the harness.

Let's just hope this is a tuning thing and you'll be up and running soon.

So, if I understand this right, you buy nistune complete and they tune your car for you? I have the software to use with an emulator but damn, if I could have a personal tuner via email it would save me soo much time.

Anyways, I get a tps read issue until my car gets into regular temp range, and then it always goes back to normal after I heat the car up, and then cut it off and restart. I think mine has to do with a damaged wire, but it has never totally cut out on me.

they dont tune it for you, Matt is just helping me out because I fail and the car needs to be able to at least idle properly and run around out of boost so i can make sure I have no other issues when I go to the dyno to do a real tune

OH man sounds way to familiar. I recently left Megasquirt and went to nistune. My freind Andy is a authorized nistune dealer and is good friends with matt. Im having the same problem. My car is running pig rich to the point were it stalls. I have to hold it wide open to get it to start again. I havent checked my injector latencies but I have messed with the K value. I also am having a problem with the consult disconnecting while making runs. At idle its fine though. Did you ever have this problem ? Might need to add more grounds ?

i know nothing about tuning a car. im relying heavily on matt to help me on this one. I dont know of anyone else besided him that could possibly help me by watching the logs and adjusting my bin file..
