I've never done a knock sensor on a 240 before. I know the location of the knock sensor and it almost appears like you have to remove the intake manifold to get to it. However after looking on the Alldata at work I noticed it paid very little (in terms of hours) which would rule out removing the intake manifold I would think. So do I need to remove the manifold to get to it?

i believe you can gain acces to it if its on a hoist and you remove the oil filter it is totally accessable. I am not 100% sure you may have to remove one other thing. why are you replacing it is it due to a code? if so how long it takes for the code to generate after clearing it is important. if its immediate it is a circuit failure. if not it could be fuel octane level. in the circuit case if there is a sub harness to yours it should be replaced as well.

does it throw an o2 sensor also?

try replacing that - a bad o2 sensor will cause the knock sensor code

It's not throwing a knock sensor code, and the code seems to be immediate after being removed. I think I'll skip the subharness and do the whole motor in.

Nitrous + KA = BOOOOOOM.

240 - KA + RB = WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
