NissanConnect Information

Looking for NissanConnect developer codes. Per some research, it was built for Nissan, but is a Bosch automotive product. I think it is an Android OS.

Not a programmer, but hoping to get some leads into
- how to do basic stuff like upgrading maps, customizing nav voices, etc.
- how to add things like more apps, and graphics, and possibly replace NAV with the one in my smartphone.
- How to even upload this stuff.

My old 2006 Honda Odyssey NAV and entertainment system had a better display layout and operation than the Nissan Nav.

Complaints:
- The menu bar at the top and bottom ruins the map aspect ratio. I like to have the map screen more squarish.
- Input functions are hampered when driving. Any way to disable that to allow my shotgun passenger to enter information?
- POI categories are not comprehensive nor searchable.
- Cannot get POI icons on screen. Would be good to track where nearest gas stations, Nissan dealerships, ATMs, parking, etc. are located.

Apps to add:
- Waze/Maps
- GasBuddy
- Field Trip

The bluetooth feature and Nissan connect is great, because I did not have anything like it before, but now I want more.

Let's see what's possible.
