Nissan Xterra - Faint High Pitch Sound when accelerating

I only hear it when I'm accelerating. Not more so when the windows are down but with the windows up, you can hear it. Cruising is fine but whenever I accelerate, that's when you can hear the sound. Does anyone know what that is?

i assume this is a new problem thus the reason he posted the question but i suppose he may not know that superchargers make noise
