Nissan x-terra 2005 manual trans work ride no forward movement

Hi guys, Rob from down under again, Have checked further on the drive chain jamming problem and think I have narrowed it down to the rear right side wheel bearing or the rear diff. It moves freely in reverse but travels 1 metre before jamming. When I put my hand on the tyre I can feel contact with the jam so tomorrow I will inspect the wheel bearing and then do what I can with the diff. Any advice would be very appreciated.
