did you apply a primer?cuz if you didn't, chances are the paint wont last long.

i painted mine a few weeks ago and it looks 100% better, I'm just waiting to find a trustworthy place to get the sideskirts painted cuz the black looks like crap.i used flatblack and it blended in great with the black on the rest of the grille.

Mine's already black. Hmmmm. Does the S come with a chrome grill and the SL's black?

yeah, I was wondering the same thing! I guess the SLs are already black. Seems strange that the lower-end model would have the chrome grill.

Is it just me, or can you not tell that it's lowered? I swear it looks just like mine, except for the rims of course, which are sweet.

Hey VV, How do those Tanabe's ride? I was considering some as well, but I don't want to convert my smooth-riding V into an overweight pogo stick!

Finally, did you install them yourself, and if so, how complicated was it?

haha, i really installed by myself, and it was kind of hard to installed, cuz i usually installed civic... for my friends, it was easy.

Not sure how to explaine to you how complicated was it, but is better have the shop do it for you.

The Tanabe spring was great, almost like stock, but little bit harder. You will like it, felt a lot better compare to TEIN on my friend's XB.

What paint, in particular, did you use? I've been thinking of doing this for awhile, but never found any paint. I wonder if the paint would adhere to the rest of the plastic pieces in the car.

paint will stick to just about any plastic if you know what you are doing and prep it well.

I just want to be sure that I can get a few good hard coats on it so that it doesn't start to chip too bad.

he does that and it will chip for sure, use adehesion promoter, but before you do that scuff it up a lil bit with an sos pad, lay down a couple coats of primer, then sand, then a couple coats of paint, color sand, then clear, sand it, and polish it. DONE!

I figured that would be the process, it's the same process as painting a guitar. Sounds good.
