Hi all

Does any one know what mileage in km or miles should you change the CVT transmission oil???

I do not have a consult II device to check the programming. For the versa 2007 they say that the tranmission oil can be replaced by using the consult II and checking the CVTF deterioration date as below:

CVTF DETERIORATION DATE”More than 210000:It is necessary to change CVT fluid.Less than 210000:It is not necessary to change CVT fluid.

What conversion this number relates to in KM or Miles???

Is it also safe to open the CVT transmission oil dip stick to air????

In the USA Nissan recommends replacing the CVT oil at 60,000 miles.

To answer your other question Nissan has the CVT dipstick locked to keep contaminates out of the CVT and requires a special tool to unlock the dip stick and to keep us form putting regular ATF fluid in it.
