Hi all,

First post so apologies if I don't adhere to some rules.

I noticed there weren't any discussions about the droopy sun visor issue in some Versas (among other Nissan models). I tried taking it apart (removed the liner by carefully cutting the stitching and trying to pry the thing apart) but couldn't do it without possibly wrecking the whole part. So I stitched it back up with some nylon string and instead somewhat fixed it by sticking a binder clip over the interface between the rod and visor. It still droops a little bit but for now it works fine.

Anyone have any other ideas for fixing it?

Honda Civic owners filed a class action lawsuit against Honda over a similar problem affecting their 2006~2008 models. You could buy a replacement http://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts/ni ... el31a.html OR if you don't care about how it looks, you could try this fix:

Hi, I just stapled some velcro pieces to the roof and the visor top, so that when pushed up it sticks to the roof. Just a couple inch piece set back a bit.

Works well.
