Hi there..

I just got the AVN726e. I guess i'm lucky I got it since it's a discontinued product and I couldn't find something as great as this product on the market. So since I have many years of computer hardware experience, I guess it's woul'd not be a hard job installing this after-market Kit.

So here's the video featuring the receiver:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z00VV0JD6xU

Here's where I bought it (They give the most efficient service ever, I recommend buying from them) : http://www.pacificstereo.com/

Today I noticed that there was not harness/crimptool/butt-connectors comming with that unit, and I did not wanted to cut the original wires inside the car since I might want to replace the old Radio back (who knows?); so I decided to have a chat session with the company featuring that receiver; crutchfield!

A guy called Chad gave me those link to use on my versa :http://www.crutchfield.ca/Crim...t.htm (crimping tool and 20 butt-connectors)Antenna Adapter : http://www.crutchfield.ca/Niss...2.htm6 Speakers Receiver Wire Harness : http://www.crutchfield.ca/Niss...2.htm

I'll be taking pictures of my avn726e with and if possible I'll be posting a how-to video when I'm done.

Wich me good luck!

Got the Receiver Installed 85% success.. Navigation Working, Streaming audio via bluetooth from my iphone 3GS working so far.

Steering wheel and phone calls not working.XM Radio not showing up on the menu (I may need a harness for this one?, dunno).

Steering wheel : http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1...=3405Looks like I need an adapter; the representant told me few wires needs to be soldered with no resistors.

I will update picture with HD quality and make them smaller asap.

Very nice deck. I like Eclipse products, I have a 2 channel amp from them in my car. Too bad they went out of business. Thier products will be hard to find now.

Hey guys,

I'm actually having an issue with this AVN726e receiver. i'm unable to Make or receive calls for some reasons. I was able to pair it to stream music over bluetooth, but on the phone menu, it just doesn't show up!I tried with my iphone 3gs and iphone2g. No luck...see picture

- I called Crutchfield and the tech just doesn't know why it won't show up.- I Called Pacific Stereo; they suggested me to do a Reset on the device, so did I. Same result.- I sent an email to Eclipse with my invoices, photo and description of my issue. I hope to get an answer asap. Loosing the calls feature hurts me feeling

Anyone knows how to fix this ?

Thanks

what happens when you try making a clal with your phone instead of the receiver? Does the voice come over your speakers or the phone?

That is because the hand brake is not enabled. If you have a switch installed to bypass the handbrake letting the unit think the car is parked then turn it on and those functions will be enabled. When this is happens you will be able to watch dvd while the car is in motion as well. Very much not recommended and it is against the law as well so I wouldn't recommend playing dvd while driving but just letting you know what else it does.

Where can I get the Switch from to fake the car is parked? Thanks for your illumination

Anyway switch can be used. Just connect it to the parking brake wiring

I've just read that I can bypass this by wiring the break wire to the ground : http://www.the370z.com/audio-v...17135
