nissan valve timing

has anyone info on valve timing and clearances and injector timing for a sunny 2.0 DLX .It is a 1993 2 litre diesel , 8 valve , single overhead cam British registered Nissan sunny . Im not sure what the American equivalent is . I think in American it might be a sentra CD20 ??!?

what engine is in it? is it the sr20?

it is a 2.0 litre diesel single overhead cam 8 valve 1993 bucket actuated head . Registered in england . I dont know if that is any help .

We had a 1.8 or 2.0 liter deisel in the early 80's put I can't check till 2/17/03. It's been to long since I've worked on one.They would run pretty good but just didn't go over to good in the states.

what has happened is that the head gasket blew and mother drove aboot for a while and it pressurised the water jacket which led to all sorts of fun and games . I replaced the gasket got the head skimmed ( the guy who skimmed it said it had been skimmed before . I then put the thickest (3 notch ) head gasket on and put it all back together . Not having abook with all the spec in i marked the cam belt and injector pump belt to make sure everything went back together ok .The gasket doesnt leak but she is difficult to start , runs badly and makes anoise as thogh the injector timing is out and also alot of unburnt diesel out of the exhaust . The only manual available is the Nissan official workshop book that costs too much for mothers purse .
