I understand Nissan has come out with a TSB for the oil problem for the 350Z

The G35 should be next.

This is a serious issueSome of you folks answers was not funny. These cars cost hard earned money

I also have a 2003 QX4 with same engine core andit hardly use oil I am up to 92,000 no where near 1 quart in 2400 miles.

I have a 2004 G35 6 M/T and It uses just over a quart in 2400 miles and I have only 27000 miles on this engine.

Yes you should keep your oil topped off ,but too much oil loss is too much

Be nice to one another this is serious stuff.

That's all

Welcome to NICO. hows that for nice

I'm interested in that TSB since I have similar oil consumption on my 07 G. The dealership told me it wasn't a problem? Do you think that Infiniti will cover that far back with the TSB?? Are you the original owner of the 04 g35?

I'll see your smiley face poking mine with a stick and raise you a santa hat with a candy cane

Welcome to Nico! While I don't have an oil consumption problem (<.1 litre every 3K) I will comment on the being nice piece--- the forum is full of great people who are respectful to each other, provide solid advice and take pains to avoid being ignorant: but we also have our share of the other, don't let that drive you away.

Thanks for info. by the way, others will be glad to hear this.

Good luck!

Welcome to NICO!

Thanks for the update and we look forward to having you around.

I myself have not had this problem with my 05 or 07. But I know there are a few here who have.

I hope it's resolved "hassle free"
