Hello guys

I just wanted to know if any of you had this "problem" (if you may call it that) before. I took my A/C for the regular maintenance (service), I had no problems with the car, I just told them that the brakes were noisy. Today they called me and told me that they need to change the brake pedal (under warranty) because it's noisy?! :rolleyes: Ya the pedal was making some strange noise (loud and noticeable), but do you think it is an indication of some other thing? Is it a regular thing to replace a pedal? I've never heard of such thing before..

**UPDATE::
I took my car to the dealership today, they said they were going to replace the brake booster, and that it would take 2 days to finish.
I asked if it was urgent, they said it is better to do it now because my car is still under warranty. This is a an expensive fix, it would cost about $1,700.
Bottom line is this, if you think you have a problem with your brake pedal (noise) and if your car is still under warranty, then don't waste any time and go fix it before it's too late!

Wow! Thanks for the update. That's a new one on me!

Can you tell me a little more about the noise?

The noise sounds like an old spring, and a plastic ticking noise. I also noticed that there was some gap in the brake, that means you have to hit the brakes a little more for them to stop the car or you hit the brakes a little bit (1/4) and the lights don't even come on. I thought it was a normal thing, I didn't like it for sure and I asked the dealership to check them for me many times, but now luckily there really was something wrong with the brake booster. I should pickup the car later tonight.
