I knew Toyota would spawn other manufacturers to fix ANY issues there cars have.

It's difficult to produce a perfect car, so this was bound to happen.

Exactly. The difference between Nissan and Toyota is that Toyota is STILL denying their responsibility in much of that fiasco, even while claiming to value customer loyalty and issuing recall after recall. Toyota's tongue has more forks than a fancy restaurant. Nissan has stepped up BEFORE this became a media circus, which is what you're SUPPOSED to do.

Now all we need is BMW to do a recall on all the HPFP issues on the 335i.

Its awesome to see that NISSAN it taking care of this before it gets out of hand, but the fact they they are not stepping up to the plate when it comes to the gas gauge isue is kid of contradictive to this...

I understand that it is in no way a safety issue, but it is no way satisfactory. I am sure its a easy fix. Probably just a sender unit located in the tank.
