just recently seen some of the nissan ads, where they feature lots of different cars, kinda showing their history and all, one thing kinda bugged me though, i don't think i saw a single 240 in all of the commercials

what's wrong? does nissan not know how popular this car is, and what loyal supporters it has? is nissan ashamed of the 240 cause it didn't sell to well? would they just rather forget about this great car??? i hope not!!!!

sorry man, but in the US the 240 was a girls car. The 300zx was the flagship of that time. Nissan dealers (at least in my area) refer to the 240 as a Secretarys car, bc men drove 300s and girls drove 240s.

That's true, but its funny how at this point, older 240's are mostly owned by younger guys. Take the population of this board for example, mostly men, almost all under 30 (hope i'm not offending anyone). I think its probably because now that s13's are older and affordable, people realize that its a very good platform to build on.

around my area, most of the S13s i see are driven by middle aged women, and some by middle aged men. occasionally i see younger guys and girls about equally. i rarely see S14s but when i do it's usually younger guys.

when I see s14s, 9 times outta 10 it is driven by a girl, very few girls drive s13s here, mostly guys, even then not too many 240s in my area.

so far around here i seen about 14 S13's 6 where guys adn 5 where girls (the other three, the windows where too dark to tell)

all the s14's i see aroudn here are driven by chente spanish guys...they stick a whole lot of aluminum trim on those suckers...

i've seen about 5 wasted SE's in that fashion...

all the 240's in my area are driven buy guys for the most part. Although i did see one hot chick about my age in a very very nice new looking blue s13.

yeah. there is a sorta-hot blonde chick drives a white 91-93 hatch near here. but most of the 4-5 in the area are driven by older women.

I've only scene 2 other 240s in my small town an s13 and an s14; both piloted by young guys, and neither Nissan is stock.

Oh it's true. I always see chicks in eclipses and talons, especially the spider. Neons and new Beetles too.

well I'm the only s14a se in my town and there's one other thats a base model and its driven by a girl. But then there's the s14 that is actually quite popular and mostly driven by guys. For the s13 though it's about equal.
