Nissan sunny wagon, 4wd into rwd

I was wondering, dont know what the type is called but here in Iceland its a Nissan sunny wagon, Its a 1991 model and has 4wd and manual gearbox, what i am wondering is, what more then front driveshafts has to be removed to convert it into a rear wheel drive, and then i was thinking about welding the diff, its just some fun project that im doing, got the car for 200 dollars in good contiodion, except for some rust that i already fixed, and also it has the GA16DS with a carborator, 89 horsepower, AND i was wondering if GA16DE will fit without MAJOR modifications, thanks
