Nissan Skyline R33 GTS parts

I know this is a GTR thread but I can't seem to find a GTS thread so I'm posting my question here.

I need to find parts for my Skyline R33 GTS25. I live in the Caribbean and have called my local parts store who have informed me that if I bring the part to them they can try to match it. In the meantime, my starter is out. If I can order the part direct, I will. Does anyone here know of a good parts outlet for Skylines? Thanks in advance.

Hey, welcome to NICO. Don't worry about your thread. This isn't a strictly GT-R forum, it's a Skyline/GT-R forum.

As far as your parts dilema goes, if it's for the engine itself, check out our RB forum here, zeroforum?id=135 Be sure to use the search function too, you can finds lots of stuff if just get creative on your search criteria.

I need a starter for the darn thing. The armiture (sp?) is burnt up. My car has the RB25DE engine. Problem for me is there aren't any parts on my island. The guys at the parts store on the main island (90 miles away) say to send the old one over to them (via airplane for $25) and they'll try to match it with a nissan starter. If there was a way to rebuild it with a common nissan starter kit or another nissan starter would work, it would definitely be better for me. I just would need to know which nissan starter would work. I've seached the internet high and low and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get parts for these cars. I love my Skyline but cannot understand how to get parts for it. Thanks for any help you or anyone can give me.

Several different startes fit the RB25, ive seen a CA18 starter fitted to one didnt last long but still worked, heaps of dealers here in aus that could help you out with parts

I don't have a skyline starter for comparison so I can't give you a straight answer as to whether or not a 300zx or Q45 starter will work or not.

But if you post pics of the parts you'r looking for I can compare them to the starters I do have access to.

I know its not much help, but its the best I can do for you at 3am in the morning.

I've got a starter to a RB25DET. I dont know if they're the same but they look like it.
