this is not hard just remove the old engine and bolt in a rb20det or a 25det...wiring is diffrent on the 25.

When doing this should do I have to change anything? Like fuel pump differential ect??? Or just "plug and play"?

I was told that it is not just a "plug and play" swap. For starters, I would replace the pump as an 25 needs more fuel but as far as wiring goes, I was told a few things have to be changed. ECU of coarse which would come with the 25 motor anyways.

Good luck.

I also hear my differential is to "weak" for a turbo..?Is that true?? Or will it be OK if I keep it on low boost (5 psi)

A limited slip diff wouldn't be a bad idea and there will be some wiring differences, but swapping in an RB20DET should be freakin cake.

Yeah, the 20 is a piece of cake... as long as it gets shipped in good condition...

(mine wasnt)

Only about 10 wires to wire up, also use the KA LOWER harness :-)

trying to spice all the wires for the rb harness would be a pain..

Also, ka harness plugs directly into the alternator, and starter, you just have to splice the oil sensor in using the rb plug..

Dude, did you read the original question? He wants to swap an N/A RB20 in a SKYLINE for a RB20/25det.

Get yourself a walbro instead of trying to track down a gtst pump. Also, if you going to go to the trouble of the swap, I would go RB25. I would run down stock GTR's all day long when I put just a stock turbined 25 in mine.

OK, I'm done with the swapping part now. Now it's on to the wiring? If there is anybody out there that has done this before, please HELP
