Nissan Sentra XE starter problem

I have a '94 Sentra that will not start. Turn the key, a slight click and nothing. All lights etc work fine. Found a loose wire coming from the battery and headed in the general direction of the starter, but do not know where it goes. On the starter?, where, if so. Any diagrams of the starter and what wire goes where? Thanks for your help. Really want to get this back on road. 2nd vehicle gets about 12 mpg, and miss the 34 mpg of the Sentra.

You should be able to download a sentra fsm here. . What color is the wire and roughly what size?
