These are usually regional, sponsored by a specific dealership or credit union. They CAN be good sales, or they could just be a gimmick to attract attention and not actually get you any particularly good deal.

Who actually sent the letter? Was it Nissan or a local dealer? If it was a credit union, are you a member? In any case, I would call whoever sent it and look over the details carefully. It the $1,000 balance might only apply on cars over a certain price, or certain models.

It could be legit, but it could also be a scam to get you in and make you part with enough money to make up for what they're giving you and more.

You know the old saying... If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Those shopping sprees turn out to be spending sprees. You go to a website & order stuff with the "free" cash. But when you go to check out, they charge you high shiping & handling fees that you can not use your "free" cash for.

I went to a time share thing & got one of these shopping sprees. After I saw the S&H came to $500, I threw it away. It is a scam to get you purchase over priced Chinese junk. The S&H is what the item really costs in any online junk merchant.
