I like it, very cool. Too bad my Rogue came with a sunroof.

I would prefer to get a panaroma sunroof instead.

From the looks of it, I think this is a replacement for the stock sunroof ( I am probably totally wrong) I think I may go talk to one of the local dealers after I get my tax return to see if this is true and what the cost of this little toy is...

I'm not so sure its a replacement. When I was buying my Rogue I was insistant on having a sunroof. The dealership didn't have the interior/exterior color combination I wanted "with" a sunroof. He told me it wasn't a problem because he could have a sunroof installed in any Rogue on the lot (or any other car for that matter) and gave me a Webasto brochure. The only catch was the sunroof warranty "would not" be honored by Nissan or by his dealership. The warranty would only be with the company that installed it.

Dealer quoted price for the Webasto sunroof was $1550 installed. I decided against it and kept looking until I found the Rogue I wanted with a factory installed sunroof.

Eh I guess I didn't put in type what was in my head. I understand that a sunroof can be installed on any vehicle just requiring cutting and minor work. What I meant to say is I am sure it wouldn't be too difficult to have one installed in lieu of the stock sunroof. This is of course, dependent on the sizes of the hole and the glass etc, etc.

I am assuming the $1550 price tag was to cut the hole, install, wire it up, seal it up and whatever else would need to be done. For that price and the work it would take, I would think that if they can just put in the glass and a new switch (if even required) it would be, maximum, half that price.
