Hey everyone on NICO, I own a 2009 Nissan Rogue "S" and I was wondering if the trunk of the car (with all of the seats folded down except for driver & passenger) would be able to fit a motorcycle, specifically a 1996 Suzuki Katana 600. Please help, I plan on getting a motorcycle but don't own a truck or have a friend that does. Hopefully it'll fit lol.

Your odds of finding an owner with a Rogue and the specific motorcycle you're considering are pretty unlikely. Can you not measure the cargo space and have the motorcycle measured? Is the motorcycle not driveable?

Hey Jaysushi, I'm sure it will not fit, the hatch opening is far too small. I put my bicycle back there this year and it was a bit of an awkward tight fit, I probably won't do it again unless I'm forced to.

I doubt it will fit, with the hatch closed.

It's no Harley. But it looks pretty small compared to some I've seen. I wonder if you put the front passenger seat down and angle it perhaps it could just squeeze in BARELY if possible. I don't see why not. :rotfl

They call it a good starter bike. A step above a scooter by the look of it.

I can't even imagine trying to stuff a cycle into a Rogue but stranger things have been done like putting them on car roofs. I would either ride the bike or get a trailer and hitch setup. There's also crate freight shipping as an option too.

BTW, the Katana was a tad more than a step above a scooter with 86 crank HP and 443 lbs. dry weight. Stats I find claim 12.20 seconds in the quarter at 109 mph and 130 top speed. Takes a pretty fast car to approach any sport bike for that kind of performance. My relatively slow 1250 Bandit can do an 11.2 second quarter.
