Does anyone know if anything is going to happen as far as performace parts for the Nissan Rogue? I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue SL in venom red with the black and red cloth interior. I'm wondering if anyone has heard any thing or if anyone knows of anywhere i can get some performace parts.

Simple answer is: None yet.

I'm afraid the Rogue won't receive much aftermarket support. Even the Murano never got much support beyond a couple of bolt-ons. It's not really a 'tuner' type of car. Your only hope is the fact the Rogue shares it's chassis and engine with the late model Sentra SE-R (+2007). However the suspension, exhaust, intake, etc is so totally different from the Sentra that I doubt any parts will interchange.

So what are our options? Here are my best guesses. None of this has been tested so I make no claims if it will work.

Exhaust: Get a custom fabricated exhaust. Go larger diameter (2.5")with a resonator and single or dual mufflers. There is lots of room in the rear for a dual setup. Be forewarned, the QR is quite raspy with a performance exhaust... you won't get the G35 sound.

Header: If and when a header is released for the '07+ Sentra, it 'MAY' fit the Rogue as well. Someone is going to have to be the guinea pig and try it.

CAI: I don't think the Injen Cold Air Intake for the '07+ Sentra will fit. The engine bay is somewhat different. Worth a shot though.

ECU: Even the old QR25DE ECU was never really 'cracked'. ECU upgrades are almost non-existent. Stillen did have the QR PRO piggyback ECU, but I doubt it would work with the new engine. Greddy has the E-manage piggyback and with some hard work, dyno time, and a skilled installer it may be possible. A lot of $$$ though for a few HP. The other option is the APexi SAFC, it needs to be dyno tuned as well.

Underdrive pulleys: This is possibly our best bet. An underdrive pulley set for the +07 Sentra or maybe even the earlier Sentra's may fit. I wouldn't expect alot from this mod though since the electric power steering eliminated one of the biggest accessory loads on the motor. BTW, the A/C shuts off on hard acceleration so it doesn't affect performance much.

Brakes: I haven't researched this yet. The '07+ Sentra SE-R brakes are slightly smaller than stock Rogue brakes. '07+ Sentra SE-R Spec-V brakes are larger. Maybe an upgrade???

Suspension: You are SOL, no parts interchange as the Rogue suspension is totally unique... it even has independent rear suspension which the Sentra does not. Try contacting companies like Eibach to see if they can substitute springs from other vehicles. Ground Control may be able to adapt the front struts with a coil-over kit. This can lower the vehicle and increase spring rate. They may have something for the rears as well since the design is somewhat similar to the Altima.

Food for thought...

Has anyone installed this kit onto their Rogue yet? I'm curious to see how it would affect the overall drive quality of the vehicle as well as cosmetic looks etc..

It's not in production yet. I'm still waiting for it to come out so I can finally get them...

I drive a 02 specv and live on sentra forums, my girl has a rogue, and the short ram intake made by weapon R looks like it would fit it without a problem.... look into that for a little extra hp.

Do you mean intake for your 02 specv or specifically made for rogue?

It would be nice to have a CAI as that could improve gas mileage a little.
