Hmmm... I'd love to read the fine print on their guarantee. The problem with any vinyl bra is that dirt can find its way under the bra. Abrasion to the cars finish from the trapped dirt occurs due to the movement between the bra and the cars surface area. I'm guessing the guarantee does not cover damage the cars finish due to poor maintenance, but is actually in regards to the magnetic straps and securing methods being guaranteed not to damage your paint. (Unlike buckles or clamps that can damage paint.) The magnets are probably sewn inside the bra thus eliminating any chance of them coming in contact with the cars finish.

That said, its still a great idea... much better than the strap on, elastic band bras of yesterday. I'm guessing it wraps around the hood and has blocks that secure (get pinched/trapped) underneath the locked hood, thus leading to their theft-proof claim.

Guarantee In addition to our 30-day unconditional satisfaction guarantee, Monsoon Products Co. guarantees for a period of one year that the magnetic car bra will not damage your paint through oxidation caused by trapped moisture, or abrasion caused by flutter or flapping. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by intentional misuse or failing to follow the instructions on installation, maintenance and care.

Magnetic car bras are made from safety-coated, flexible magnetic sheet, like magnetic car signs and the seal around your refrigerator door. Safety-coated magnetic sheet was developed especially for use on cars and trucks. It will not damage your paint even with long-term use. With minimum care it can be used indefinitely, even in the rain.

That's from the site. I kinda like that this is another option for our weak paint.

It also looks similar to the top part of a removable bra without the hassle of taking it off in rain. I had the regualr black bra, one piece on my nissan pearl maxima for 16 years. But I was too lazy to remove in rain. It discolored my paintjob. Darkened it. Looked bad, But the 16 year paint that was not covered looked great actually. I know the black bras looked dated. But I still actually like the look. I got a palstic hood protector now. I would use the clear bra but being a perfectionist, I would be too hard on myself if not done close to perfect. Even though I can do the little things like change oil, add nerf bars, wind deflectors, bumper guards.
