Hi Nissan community.
Nissan Rogue 2021 Rear Door Glass Channel damage.
According to Nissan mechanic it is an electrical tape and do not belong there. He just removed it.
It should be replaced with a new glass channel? The car it is in warranty.

I tried to post like an attachment it gives me an error.

Try downsizing the pics with PhotoShop or some other graphic editor. The attachment function doesn't generally like pics over about a meg in size. I find reducing to about 1500 pixels on the long axis gives you an attachable pic that still has good viewability.

I tried with 250 and 105 kb and still error. I tried with add attachment button or drag the file to the message and still error.

That worked. I'm not even sure what I'm looking at with that second pic, but the first one appears to be a piece of assembly tape left over from the factory. It's used to help the channels slide in cleanly but they're supposed to remove it after installation. I doubt it damaged the channel, but post a pic with the window down. If the channel is visibly distorted in any way or the window doesn't operate smoothly because of a bump in it, then it should be replaced. Otherwise there's no reason to replace anything.

The second pick illustrates that it moved up and down with the window.

I don't get that either, I just uploaded an attachment to another thread and it worked fine. Weird.
