Nissan recalls vehicles over air bag concerns

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Spoke with my service dept today to see if they could fix the SRC programming when I bring my car in on Friday to replace the fuel pump. Unfortunately the programming cannot be repaired this week.

Repairs on Canadian vehicles will probably occur sometime in November, the service depts have not received the programming instructions as yet from Infiniti Canada head office.

Canadian owners will begin to receive notification starting in November.

I had an "Air Bag Control Module Reprogram" performed back in February this year after receiving a recall letter. I assume this is a new one?Did others get that first recall letter as well?

This looks like a new one. Last time it was a recall for passenger airbag that might not work during an accident if the cars battery is low. This new recall is a lot serious I guess bec. the problem seems to be the main unit and the sensor.
