Been lurking here for a while since I'm considering getting an EX35. Thought you all might want to know about this recall.

this forum is for people who are interested in EX35. I'm surprised that this topic has no response.

There's nothing wrong with posting info that there's an issue with some EX35s. I for one, as an EX35 owner, didn't know this. Thanks for posting. Now I just need to see if my car is affected by the recall.

Cars produced from November 2007 through January 24, 2008 are affected. The recall is not as bad as it seems on the surface. Basically if the battery is completely drained, the passenger airbags may not work properly afterwards. It's a 1 hour fix. Just needs to be reprogrammed.

I'm scheduled to have my dealer reprogram my car this weekend.

I have an appointment with my dealer on Monday. That is, if they are ready to do the reprogramming. When I called them today the service department didn't know anything about the recall. They found the info right away but there are some doubts whether they'll be ready to go by Monday.

Gonna get my first oil changed done at the same time.
