From reading the article, it seems like the CAS is what is going out. My friend has a Spec V and had to have his CAS replaced. When he took it into Nissan, they didn't even have a part number for the item because it's not supposed to go out for 90,000+ miles. Oops!!

you wanna hear about a real bad recall. mention the nisan van to any tech who was around in the late '80s. i was not there, but i hear that it sucked.

nissan van from the 80s? that thing sounds like its battery powered! some people up the street had one and i was forced to laugh every time it drove by.

So it looks like I will be getting a recall notice in the mail. That is going to be a B**** to replace that sensor. They should just put in a new engine.
