I have a Nissan infinity QX4 2002 MODEL. Just last month I noticed that the Gear oil was very low, so I took it to a service center where the automatic transmission oil was topped with new ATF .
After the fluid topup, I discovered that while driving, the CAR does not drive above 70 or 80 KM. At this speed, if I increase the acceleration, the car does not go above 80km, and it seems the auto gear selection is not changing the gear automatically.
This problem was not there before the oil change. It only started when I topped up the Automatic Transmission fluid with just 4 Liters.

Presently I need help. What could be the problem, and how can it be solved. :) :rotfl

What's the condition and level of the transmission fluid?

1. Drive around for 10 minutes in the city after the transmission is at operating temperature.
2. Park on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
3. With P selected, shift through every gear and return to P.
4. Pull the transmission dipstick with the engine idling, wipe it clean, reinsert it completely, and read the level. It must be within the notched area labeled "HOT". Check for fluid contamination after wiping on a paper towel.

The fluid should be red, and not smell burnt.

Why was the fluid low in the first place? Is there a leak?

Thanks for your reply.
I have checked round, there is no leak. I will check the condition of the fluid and do what you have advised and get back with my findings.

Thanks

So when your going 70-80km/hr, are you pretty well red-lineing it (at 6500rpm)?
