Nissan Quest trailer hitch

We just bought a 2012 Quest S and had the dealership put a trailer hitch on it to pull our camper. The problem is that the hitch mount is very low, less than 6 inches clearance to the ground, and it now scrubs the ground when going over dips, etc.

The dealership says that the mount will not go any higher.

Any suggestions?

I have put a CURT hitch on my 2011. It does sit a bit low. I am confused because the OEM hitch suppose to mount higher and I think I have more then 6" clearance
I have gotten used to paying attention driving over dips etc. Still scrape the bottom every now and then.

these minivans aren't really SUVs w/ higher ground clearance... the stance is to be as low as a car, even in my 2002 model

i'm installing an aftermarket one in the late spring for just hauling bikes to the park...

same issue with mine. please let me know if you want mine. I'll sell it to you for cheap. Mine was never used.
