My bulbs just fall out and are not held by the retainer. It looks like all 6 of the retaining clips in side the rings are gone. Instead of the clips that stick out and catch the bulb assembly flange to secure the bulb are missing and oly stick out about 1/8". I cannot locate any retaing rings, new or used. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated Chuck

Those were during the Nicury years, and I think your retainers are actually Ford p/n F4DZ-13N019-A:

Thanx again VStar. Got the retainers today and looks like they'll do it! Is there some lubricant that I should use on the bulb rubber 'O' rings prior to pushing them in? TIA, Chuck

Use di-grease or white lube if it's needed. Don't use WD40 or any penetrating lube, it will actually glue the rings when it dries out and make it hell if you need to remove them again.

Well, I ordered the retainer rings from ebay because they were 2/$9.xx. Cheap junk! the tabs that hold the bolt assemble were wrong and so flimsy that they came bent and ready to break (which they did with the slightest pressure. Ordered the same items from Amazon because they were genuine ford, prepackaged. They were very well made and worked perfect. I put a little vasoline on the bulb assembly 'O' ring before 'push in'. Thanks again VStar for the valuable info! Chuck
