So I'm about to put a the Nissan Quest Alternator into my S14 and I was wondering if I have to take out the S14 pulley and put it on the Quest alternator or can I leave the stock pulley. Also if I leave the stock pulley on the Quest alternator, can i use the S14 belt or do I have to get a quest one? Thanks.
BTW: I did not find any info on this.

Whats the size difference between the two pullys? Is the rib count of the belt different? Do you even have a quest alt to look at? These are the things we need to know...

I know for a fact that 240sx 80 and 90 amp alts can be swapped without changing the pully, theres enough range in the tensioner to accommodate either one. Hope that counts for something.

The S14 has 3 Ribs and the Quest Has 4 ribs and the Quest alternator is a bit bigger. Here are some pics.
