also, try checking the battery voltage... especially since you have a sound system...
I have noticed that our cars are very particular about battery voltage. What may not seem like a battery issue may very well be that... I had this same issue a number of times , but that's when I use to run all of my TV's in my car on while driving all the time (too lazy to turn them all off)
anyway, things like TV's, neon lights, sound systems put a serious drain on the electrical system... for our car, the voltage needs to be spot on in order for all of the cars functions to work... my car wouldn't even let me turn the car off one night after a car meet because I had drained the battery so much showing off the system... I know it sounds funky, but EVERYTHING in the car seems like its tied into a battery voltage sensor, and our cars go absolutely nuts when the voltage is off...
hope this helps...also, my advice to you woyuld be to
1. get a real aftermarket battery, a kinetik HC 1800 is a perfect replacement regarding fit, but these batteries are meant for cars with sound systems...
2. Get an additional battery, or batcap for the trunk (don't get a capacitor, they do little to actually benefit a sound system)
3. do a big three upgrade in your engine bay!
One of the things I love about the triple dog Gt tuner is that I can now monitor my battery voltage, and I've seen first hand how the system, and add on devices affect the battery voltage!
