Morning everybody!

I have a 1992 Nissan President from Japan. I am looking for the following parts (see below) which I can't find anywhere, not on Ebay, Nengun etc..

Nissan - CORE ASSEMBLY, FRONT HEATER
27140-61U00

Nissan - ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY, AIR MIX
27742-66U00

My core heater started leaking all the fluid in the car, air door probably broke down as well as it is stuck on AC/Cold.

Any advice or suggestions are more then welcome! Please note that I am based in the Netherlands but ofcourse willing to pay for shipping e.g.

Many thanks

:welcome: to NICO!

I would think www.amayama.com is your best bet, if they ship to your area.

Amayama shows stock for the heater core but out-of-production on the mix actuator. The actuator looks to be a variant of the Q45 part (27742-60U00) but those are unavailable too. You might want to look inside, the wiring diagram for the Q shows a DC motor with a position potentiometer. That means it's probably a "toy boat" motor with extreme gearing. Provided the gears and pot are okay, you may be able to find a replacement motor and rebuild it.

Sadly, we're down to rebuilding stuff with 3D printed parts or carving stuff out of a block of aluminum for some of this stuff.

That's par for the course in the resto world. The difference is, anybody with a Model T or '57 Chevy can pretty much machine or reconstruct anything the car needs. When you I/J/Q guys start to run out of computer parts it will be a different story. Much of that silicon isn't even made anymore, and you can't 3D print that. Very sad.

Thank you for the replies, I contacted Amayama if they have the heater core in stock but I doubt it.. a lot of other websites showed that the part is in stock but upon ordering it is discontinued.

If someone can replicate these parts let me know.. though it is a shame that it is so difficult to find these parts. Well, that could be expected from a limited production luxurious car right?

There's an outfit here called Carnegie Manufacturing that's used by a lot of resto shops to recreate antique heater cores. I'd imagine there are similar outfits in the EU. There's no rocket science about it, anybody who can build radiators can also build heater cores.

Your best bet on the actuator is still to try to save the one you have. If it got drowned from the leaky core then it might be as simple as opening the case and drying it out.
