My Infinity QX4 says to use Nissan Power Steering Fluid II? I can not find and after-market equivelent anywhere. Do I need to get the Nissan type from a dealer? Or can I use a particular after-market type? I can not find an answer anywhere in the searchs or online. Please help.

I applaud your effort to try to keep your fluids OE. The truth is although there is an ideal fluid you can you from the dealer. However, using a high quality replacement will not harm the system.

Pulled the 02 ESM. Nissan PSF, Canada Nissan ATF, DEXRON III/MERCON, or eqivelent ATF may be used. ESM MA-12/2002 Qx4

Since the poser steering units have such a small capacity and are not cooled, many of us use synthetic ATF like M1. TexasOil has also advised me when doing so, to use a seal conditioner like BG Power Steering Fluid Conditioner which they use with their synthetic after a simultaneous extraction and refill.

What kind is the equivalent replacement? Not one bottle in the auto stores has a spec. for Nissan PSF II. And at the counter and local stores they can not cross match to the Nissan brand. So what is the proper match?

Read my post above your last one. Dexron II has been exceeded by other designations which will also work.
