Nissan Pickup hardbody replacement

I have a 94 Nissan pickup single cab. i am looking for another body for it but i want to go with an extended cab. Is this possible. I was told by someone that this could not be done and that I would have to go back with the single cab and it has to be the exact year model because something would fit correctly(the mounts maybe). is this true?

you will need an extended cab frame for this to work. Ext. cab is over rated anyway, all it does is provide storage for **** to collect. peace.
