I am replacing my nissan pathfinder 2007 factory default stereo with a stereo i bought online, i bought also the converter for the 2 prong part, to convert it from 2 to 1 and bought a female end, so i dont have to strip the wires, rather just use the female end to connect to the car, then on the other side of the female use the loose cables and crimp to the new stereo, however i need help below:

Car Radio Ground Wire: Chassis
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Red

This information seems ok with me except for 2 wires:

The black ground..
My questions are, is the blue white strip amp turn on negative - required? is it really needed? 2nd question, for the black ground, how do i ground it, can i just attach it to a screw on the stereo or something? pictures help if anyone can provide
Thanks in advance
