Nissan nose panel badge removal

So i want to remove the front badge on the nose panel on my z32 (1990). I heard its just held on by a black pad with adhesive, but i noticed there is an indentation around the badge. Is there a way to remove the badge and indentation without replacing the nose panel or having to bondo it then repainting?

Welcome to NICO!

The badge is held in place with a double-sided 3M tape, which isn't too difficult to remove. The indent is gonna be the issue, as it's molded into the body part.

thanks man, so they only way to get the indentation out is throught body work then repainting?
