I recently bought a 2015 Nissan Altima 2.5SL with onboard navigation. I have to say I am somewhat disappointed with the nav system as I find that, at scales of 1KM and up, the road information is limited. If I'm driving on Canada's hwy 401 (trans canada) and the scale is 1KM or higher, it is not even showing me the 401 off-ramps or names on roads that overpass the highway I'm on. It strikes me that the very core of an effective nav system is to at least portray to the driver the names of the crossroads to the street/road that you are currently on. Also I find that some road names are set so far off to the side of the screen that they get hidden by the speed limit info or options info on screen. Can anybody else vouch for these observations or provide insight into how to fix this situation. Frustrated new nissan Altima owner. PS I have tried reducing the extraneous info (ie restaurants, gas stations etc) on screen to declutter.
