Nissan Navigation DVD - Old Version

I just picked up a new '08 Coupe 2.5 S with pretty much all options a couple of weeks ago (My 12th Nissan, by the way) and was going thru the navigation manual when I discovered that the car came with last year's DVD installed. On calling the dealer they replied that the car was probably manufactured before the new (08) disk came out - WRONG !! The disk was published in October 07 and the mfg date of the car shows Dec 07.After much discussion the dealer agreed to replace with the current disk and ordered it. Two days later, I stopped in to pick up the new one and noticed that it was the old one also (Ver 7.2). They said that it cost them $400. I offered to order one direct for $190 and let them give me maint. credit.Finally, they have ordered one and will replace the old one for free.

If your new Nissan was made after Oct. 07, check the version of your navigation DVD to make sure that it is ver. 7.3.
