Nissan Murano Radio Smokes then Dead

I was exiting the interstate and I smelled a horrible burning smell, then I noticed smoke coming from my vents. I pulled over and looked under the hood. Everything including the oil was okay.

When I drove the car after it set for a few minutes, my radio would not work. My CD player works, but no sound comes from the radio when it is on AM or FM. The radio scans the stations and stops but I don't get any sound. I think it is weird that I get sound from the cd player, but not FM or AM.

What do you think happened? How can I have it repaired?
