Nissan Murano 2009 steering wheel always locked

Hi, I bought a 2009 Nissan Murano in 2011 and I've been having nothing but trouble. The steering wheel sometimes locked and the key displayed in the dash. Sometimes, I'm driving and the key will display in the dash, the headlights will be flashing and when I come to a complete stop and try to turn the vehicle off it doesn't work, I have to disconnect the battery a few times. The weirdest thing happened today, it was raining and I was driving home and all of a sudden the wipers stopped and the key light and the slip vdc lights, illuminated in the dash. I pulled over and I couldn't get the vehicle to turn off. I waited for 15 minutes with the engine running because I couldn't stop it and finally the key light went away and the wipers worked again. Does anyone ever have or had these problems?' I took it to the dealer and this is the 8th time and they cannot figure it out.

Have you tried a backup key at all? Sounds to me like something is interrupting the radio signal between the car and the remote. There may be a short in the key, or there may be some sort of electrical issue somewhere else.

Thank you for replying. Yes, I used the backup key sometimes and the same results. I really believe it's electrical as well. I called the Nissan Consumer Affairs....I hope they can help.
