I bought an engine from D'Angelo (boost_boy) mounted it in my 240 vert shell.
Had a guy in Aurora/Centennial that was supposed to do all of the plumbing/wiring/etc for me. He claimed all kinds of problems, now including that the block must be cracked because coolant is mixing into the oil instantly when the engine starts up. (can't really run it for more than a few seconds as the injector resistor pack has bad connection) D'Angelo has a good reputation on these ca18det engines, so I doubt he sold me one with a cracked block.
Anyway, I'd like to get it to a RELIABLE shop in the area to complete the work, or at least verify that maybe the block got cracked during shipping or something similar.
Of course I"m now not local to the area. Moving to Chicago and I had thought I was going to have this car done before I left. Obviously didn't happen.
